My second auburn reroot, this one for a Daisy doll rather than a stewardess doll. Regular visitors will recall that I broke the neck of that doll when removing her head to reroot. Since then I have changed her new hair from curly to straight and from long to shoulder-length, but I'm still not satisfied. I think that ultimately it's the face that displeases me. Daisy is so much more engaging. And Daisy's head--in its early, oversized incarnations--not only pops right off but is malleable and thus easy to work with. Here, my new Daisy sports a shocking-pink Skipper sweater (tucked up to show off her midriff) and rolls of chestnutty tresses.
